The Beauty of Plant Communities

My passion for planting design developed during my three years of employment at Northwind Perennial Farm (2012-2015) where I had the privilege to learn from well-known author and plants-men Roy Diblik. I spent time photographing and learning from many of Roy's gardens. I designed and installed residential projects for clients seeking Roy's trademarked Know Maintenance Approach. Photos of Roy's gardens found below were taken personally and used to study his trademarked planting style. I am forever grateful for the planting design foundation I developed while at Northwind and Roy's mentorship during my time there.
